Just an update, I've been using the 6P for over 3 years now, still no problems with burn in with the screen always on about 50% brightness.

Newer LCD displays are now much better than earlier. I have the Redmi Note 8 Pro and even it has LCD it has awesome colours. If I turn the brightness to minimum, the blacks are almost physical as AMOLED.

Jarrod, i noticed ips lcd have more accurate colors than super amoled.
While taking photos ips lcd have similar colors to what we see to compare to oled. As oled looks yellowish and while using flash oled doesn't capture it nicely.
The phones are vivo v15 and vivo s1 pro.
Eventhough s1 pro have better camera.
Why is that?

Some displays can't turn the pixels back on fast enough, so you get this weird smear of black when there is motion. Some apps allow you to disable "true" blacks and make the pixels very dark instead.
Lcd is old. And amoled is new. So amoled is better.

Burn in on a S7edge, lightly used, purchased 16/17…pink screen…..started beginning of 19…..really….if there selling known defective phones the sale price should be a lot cheaper…they know there is a burn in problem with amoled phones…no warning.
Surprised a consumer group has not taken up the cause. Re sale on my defective phone is zero, pissed off….Does LCD have issues?

You can turn any ips display look like amoled, you need to download app that can increase color level/brightness, contrast and saturation but apps like that usually need root
