I have this monitor. It is a VA Panel not an IPS Panel. However this is my first VA Panel for a change.How it looks against an IPS Monitor?This all I can say not much of difference in experience. I've kind to like it than the flat ones.It is sharp , bright and vibrant out of the box.I can''t complain. I bought this on sale for $255 CAD.I am very satisfied of its performance. I am a guy who settles for cheap monitors vs expensive monitors maybe because I am convinced this monitor is best fit for my budget.Can it do other stuff other than watching movies and browsing?Indeed it can do other things such as gaming (this has a display port for that purpose) and video editing not a problem at all. Sorry I am not a technically specifications inclined person though, I always lean towards "If it can do the job better, then it is more than good enough".
