Hi! How do you deal with cell standby draining battery? 16+ hours drains 2700+ mah. Cell standby is not active when charging and using mobile data. Is this normal? Also, if I increase the brightness, it starts to heat up. It doesn't heat up when I turn on mobile data and play youtube videos for hours. How do i solve this issue?

Great review. You got a new subscriber now. I have an older Asus, the Zenfone 3. I like the Zen UI, but as you mentioned it is very heavy on top of Android. My Zenfone has a Snapdragon SoC, which I prefer above MediaTek. A couple months ago I was interested to buy this m1. After the MWC, I should rather save some money and buy the Asus Zenfone 5Z. It's an interesting high performing device (Snapdragon 845, Adreno 630) with a medium range price tag. I'm looking forward if you can do a review about the 5Z in the nearby future. Greetings, Emiel.

Zenfone Max Pro M1 is better deal with SD636 & 5000mah battery, price starts from 165 $ for 3GB varient and 192 $ for 4GB . i think it's only available in India for now. I try to get one unit but it's in flash sale and it's sucks . It's a good competitor to Redmi note 5 Pro .they are almost identical in specs ,redmi's camera is better. But Asus gonna launch 6GB variant for Max Pro M1 in next month with different sensor i think a 16MP on both front and back.
