If your Asus ZenFone 2 battery won't hold a charge anymore, this video should help you! This easy to follow, step by step guide shows you how to safely replace your phone's battery!
Getting the battery unstuck from the metal cover is extremely hard. 90% of your video should have been on techniques to do that. I incurred a deep cut on my finger from one of the screw hole tabs – those things are like razor blades. On that account I didn't find this video helpful.
Thanks for the great tip. Asus service center would have kept my phone for a whole week, and of coz charged a bomb.
TKQ.
Successfully replaced my battery. Thank you!
Thank you very much! We successfully change the battery with my 16-y-old son. Your video was really helpful and detailed.
You are the best channel in the world, thank you so much!
thanks for guide
Thanks.
Hello, interesting and very well done video – just one question about the kind of white silicon/rubber (sorry, did not get the name you used for it, not native English speaker) that you are pulling out before removing the battery, is there no need to put it back when mounting the new battery ? Asking as we don't see this step in your video and wondering how to do this ? Had a look to some other guides and they did not speak about this silicon/rubber ???
Does this void the warranty?
i did everythink you say now it lay an egg whats to do now?
Muito bem explicado!
Parabéns!
Man, thank you so much!
My ZenFone 2 was bricked. It was not doing absolutely nothing, not even vibrating, no fastboot, not anything. I just followed these instructions till the disconnect battery from motherboard part. I reconnected it, the phone vibrated, I screwed everything back in place and now it works just like it did almost 2 years ago.
Thanks again, saved me some money.
this is crazy! suppose its all so ppl won't want to be bothered and either get a new ph instead or pay to have it replaced! making me rething getting this ph!
Thanks a lot !!!
Très bon travail ,merci
отличное видео, замена прошла успешно, без каких-либо последствий. Менял сам, дома.
Thank you for this. After replacement of the battery, My phone speaker, vibration and charging doesnt seem to work. I suspect its the connection on 4:27 that seems to be the problem. Any tips
Another tip: If after replacing the battery and switching the cellphone on the battery indicator gets stuck at 50% you gotta open it up again and wedge something on top of the battery connector. Some replacement batteries have pretty crappy connectors that won't connect properly and by default the phone will report constant 50% battery. Just make sure whatever you put in there isn't flammable and doesn't touch the heat dissipation surface (copper colored plate) surrounding the camera, which can get pretty hot.
Hey guys, if you're trying to test your phone without screwing all of these little screws back into place just to make sure everything is correctly connected (like I did), don't have a panic attack when it doesn't respond. I had to screw everything back before I could switch it on again. I don't know if it's designed this way or if by screwing the phone back shut everything fell into place again. But still, I hope this saves someone from despair.
Very helpful and step by step video. I replaced the battery by following this video, but really afraid of destroying the part when prying up the battery. Thank you!
VERY VERY VERY HELPFULL
why cant they make a normal battery like every other phone ever
