i got the same board since almost a year… i just noticed i think im missing one led on the backside it somehow is gone… can somebody tell me how many led are on the backside???? i cant imaging how it should break of there???
Do you have to remove the sticker under that m.2 heatsink If you dont install a m.2 ssd?

Hi, do you know any case that support that usb 3.1 gen2 connector on the board ? is it thunderbolt 3 ??
That little cable is a basic 24 pin power connector but with only two viers attached the purple one (USB +5v) and black one (ground)…the connector is powerd by USB cable (at least mine is)
Just bought this mb, and what a disappointment. Programs of asus site don't work and you have to make an effort to get the programs to install.
Aura program looks like something 1995 and crashes! I installed it yesterday and uninstalled today, it's 2018! I don't want my new win install filled with trash programs.
I am so disappointet, I wish I had gone gigabyte or MSI. Maybe it will work out fine over time? But brand freaking new gear that don't work……

I think the mini-ITX layout is retarded. First if all, why do you want a chip with so many PCIe lanes ? Second why not make the board wider and allow room for a big video card and a big air-cooler?
Why not just use a USB wi-fi dongle ?
Why not add a big back-plate ?
Does anyone really need 4 SATA ports in 2017 on a mini-ITX ?
My biggest complaint are the pc cases are so 2012, and the power-supplies so 2010.
The format would make more sense with the cpu integrated into the motherboard.

Looks exactly like the z270 one I own, oh wait they put a 3 in front and broke backwards use with Kaby. Intel are wankers.
3rd fan header hiding behind the wifi connector and just below the rear heat sink – presumably that is the rear fan or cpu fan header. That rgb strip would add a nice subtle glow inside my d-frame mini – thing that make you go hmmmmm.
