Asus Vivobook x407UA Review and Upgrades(Ram & SSD)

This is Asus Vivobook x4007UA, it is a 14 inch laptop which starts from 300$ price tag with an i3 processor.It supports upto 16 gigs of ram with intel hd 620 graphics. It have wide keys which is very comfortable to type with a fingerprint scanner,
it have a light charger which charges this laptop to full in an hour, now as for port selection, it have two USB type A, i HDMI, i 3.5 mm audio jack and a micro SD card reader.that’s more than enough for most of the people.

so now let me show you how can you upgrade it’s ram, there are just two screws behind the laptop by removing them you can get access to ram, it’s very easy to upgrade, just press both,
i already installed an 8gb ram. in order you place your ram in it simple put it in the pins and press it downwards and you are good to go. now let’s open this laptop to see how we can upgrade it’s ssd, it’s little difficult than upgrading the ram but you can do it with some efforts.

so after removing all the screws you can use anything which is flat and thin to open it laptop, simply slide it inside the laptop and lift it up slightly, you would need to do it from each side of the laptop in order to open it. once you have down it you can easily left it up and there you can see three cords simply remove the cords by lifting the switches, as you can see i lifted that black switch upward and it’s done, repeat this step with other cables and you are done.
so as you can see this is an m.2 ssd, you can simple put it there with a mounting screw, you would need to buy mounting screw from nearby electrician shop, It is a WD Green 240 gigs ssd, so now lets put this back in place and tighten the screw, place all these cables in place and press the switch to lock them in place. now let’s see if the laptop boots, as you can see it booted successfully, so we have completed done these steps properly
so now let’s put everything back in place

so let’s see how this laptop performs in real word, this watch dogs 2 and it seems to be working fine in this laptop, i am recording it with this laptop so when you play it you would receive better performance than mine, now let’s play another game, this is just cause 3, system is using around 10 gigs of ram , cpu and gpu are both struggling , surely this game is quite demanding but intel hd 620 is quite capable graphic card
