Asus Vivobook Pro Graphic Designers Review

So you want to buy the Vivobook Pro for Graphic design, but is it the right computer for your needs? As a graphic designer, it is my goal to give you the best insights possible on what laptop to buy!

Today we are talking about the Vivobook Pro and its value to the graphic design community. Is this laptop a good investment for your design needs? In this review I want to cover the Vivobook Pro from a Graphic Designers perspective, let’s dive in.

1. Connectivity
The first aspect of the Vivobook pro I want to talk about is the ports. Does this computer have the best ports for your needs as a designer? This computer is equipped with all I need as a graphic design, and I would think you will be using the same features I would. The ports on the Vivobook Pro are as follows:

– HDMI
– Headphone/Mic Jack
– USB (x2)
– USB 3.0
– USB C
– LAN (Internet Jack)
– SD Card Slot

2. Build Quality
The build quality on the Asus Vivobook Pro is on par with what I would consider a well-built computer. To be totally honest a lot of computers in the Windows line up feel sub-par when it comes to build quality. The Vivobook Pro exceeds my build quality expectations. One of the aspects that sets this laptop apart from the others is the Aluminum chassis. It has both an exterior Aluminum chassis as well as the key deck. So if you are looking for build quality, performance, and budget you are in the right place.

3. 4k Screen
The third aspect of this computer I want to talk about is the 4k Screen. Why is having a 4k screen important for graphic designers? Color accuracy. Now, don’t overlook one very important aspect about 4k screens. They are Adobe RGB. If you print a piece for your graphic design work you will be printing in CMYK. note the differences: RGB is what screens use and our eyes use to present/see color. CMYK is what a printer uses. So, is this screen 100% color accurate when printing, NO! But this 4k screen will be very close!

4. Vivbook Pro Specs
Is this laptop well equipped for Graphic designers. Will you get the performance you are looking for when it comes to the Vivobook Pro? I would say yes, check it out:
