Here is my review of the B85 Progamer from Asus that is quite simply a bang for buck king IMO. I really enjoyed using this motherboard and it just has so much value there it is not funny. I actually bought two of these things.
First of all it has a great VRM on there, an 8+2 phase power design (digi+ as Asus call it), it also has an amazin onboard audio out, though the mic in and line in are mediocre.
The bios is very easy to use and is fully featured and if you install the first revision (and don’t have problems using it) then you can get your non K Intel 1150 cpus up to their max turbo clock with the first bios release for this mobo.
I also liked the implementation if the i217v instead of fancy killer nics etc.
If you have any questions about this board then be sure to drop a comment below and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

I would stay away from any Asus products. There warranty is not worth even the paper is written on. https://www.consumeraffairs.com/computers/asus.html & https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/fremont/profile/wholesale-computers/asus-computer-international-1116-16870/complaints . If you send your product to be repair it will be return unchanged. Don't think they even check them! If you call again they will ask you to send it back again (New RMA) and then they got you in their never ending cycle. I have talk to a few internet geeks and they have told me that this is call the "RMA null cycle". In other words you have a better chance of getting out of a maelstrom than from this non productive and costly cycle. Even when you contact their United State Asus branch*** you will get emails from their boiler rooms. Their emails seem to be coming from Taiwan with none Chinese sounding names [103.10.4.141 [smtp outgoing server} [Nashieka C., Adam P. & Sean M.]; even when you had contacted the USA center! Coming from Taiwan [Taipei, to be specific] don't think that you'll find that many people with such none Chinese names. Asus is the biggest manufactures of electronic components, specially motherboard and mainframe components. They have grown too big and they probably are outsourcing these departments. They probably get paid for denying claims. Chinese have learned well from the US of A. Now we are at the receiving end. Lai se faire.

This things still going strong, and looking sexy as F_CK!
So this things almost 4 years old, and smashing out latest AAA titles (on 1080P anyway), albeit having to turn settings down lol
I don't think I've ever had a motherboard last this long…. and it was among the cheapest most budget boards on sale at the time.
I'll always go Asus boards for future builds, in fact I'm looking at the STRIX Z390-H for my next build – I think it's bang on for $ value and what it has to offer 😀
What ? No RGB ?
XD
I love B85 and it even turned me onto the 4690k with the BIOSTAR B85N-HiFi 3D – Spectacular MOBO! Tank, People are wrong in America, Biostar is actually really good, quality especially!…
